A private household tool
Family Schedule Assistant
From an emailed work schedule to a shared family calendar.
What it does
Family Schedule Assistant uses Hermes Agent to read selected schedule emails and their image attachments, interpret dated work shifts, and add missing events to a designated Google Calendar. Family members can view that calendar through their usual calendar applications.
How it works
- A household member emails a schedule image to the connected inbox.
- The assistant extracts dates and shift times, excluding days off and holidays.
- It checks the destination calendar for duplicates and adds missing shifts. Unclear entries and conflicting events are flagged for review rather than silently overwritten.
Image interpretation can make mistakes. Household members should check the resulting events against the original schedule.
Private use, authorized access
This is a private household automation, not a public service. There is no public sign-up. Gmail and Google Calendar access requires the account holder's authorization. This website describes the app; it does not display emails, attachments, or calendar events, and it does not collect Google passwords.
Schedule images and relevant context may be processed by the external AI provider configured in Hermes. Read the privacy policy for details about access, processing, and retained data.
